Women’s Special meet up for the differently-abled community

Inclov announces a Women’s Special meet up for the differently-abled
community this Sunday
New Delhi, 13 th March: The special abilities of people with disabilities will be at the fore at Inclov’s unique Open Mic themed inclusive meet up this Sunday. After sending ten differently-abled people from
across India on sponsored dates in February, Inclov Social Spaces is all set to regale the community with electric stand-up comedy, live music and spoken word (poetry) performances at the Canvas Laugh Club on Sunday, 18 th March.
Celebrating the spirit of women empowerment all though this month, the list of performers has a special surprise for the audience… the line-up features women with disabilities only!
“The differently-abled community in Delhi-NCR region are in for a major surprise as our Delhi Express the offline platform is back with yet another unique theme this week. Through the Open Mic theme, we intend to provide a grand platform for women from the community to showcase their amazing talent in different genres including stand-up comedy, poetry renditions, live music, among others,” says Shankar Srinivasan (co-founder, Inclov ).
The electric evening will be witness to magical performances by numerous stand-up comedians and fresh talents from across the country. The master of ceremonies (host) at this unique meet up will be
Vasu Primlani, one of India’s leading comedians. The artists’ lineup also features Sweta Mantrii, who will address the issue of understanding of disability humorously through her stand-up comedy act! While Shivangi Agarwal, who identifies herself as queer and differently-abled, will regale the crowd with her special spoken word performances.
“I have been a part of several Inclov Social Spaces meetups over the last one year. Each meet up has been different and unique from the others. I am quite excited and am looking forward to enjoying this weekend with this unique Open Mic meet up. Maybe, I will even perform,” says a visibly delighted Lalita Rani.
Tech giant Microsoft has once again partnered with Inclov Social Spaces for this unique meet up in its endeavor to promote inclusivity and diversity in the Indian society. The iconic DLF Cyber City famed for its fully accessible venues (Canvas Laugh Club, Gurgaon is situated here) has extended its full support for this special event and aims to heighten its efforts of spreading awareness about such initiatives among the corporates located in its vicinity. Shankar believes that the Delhi Express is a perfectly inclusive platform helping bring everyone together and spreading smiles amongst the much-neglected community.
“We organize one meet up every month through the Social Spaces Delhi Express platform across the region. The idea is to normalize such meetups for this community and help them socialize and enjoy just like everyone else. We will be launching such Express platforms in cities like Mumbai, Bangalore shortly this year,” he adds. After having organized 30 meetups and having impacted more than 10 lac people from the community, Inclov, the world’s first matchmaking app designed inclusively for people with disabilities to find a life partner, intends to help spread the message of #inclusivelove for everyone through its fully-accessible mobile application and its offline platform, Social Spaces.
