10 Lifestyle Reel Ideas With Templates You Should Save

Lifestyle reel ideas that anyone can work on easily using the reel template feature.

Are you not getting enough views on your reels? There are many factors that determine how your reel will perform. But one of the factors that makes a big difference is consistency.

Don’t stop posting reels if you’re not getting a good number of views. Post consistently for a month and you will definitely see the results.

Even your old reels will slowly start picking up the pace and start hitting the 10k milestone!

So how can you be consistent on Instagram with your reels?

You need to learn how to make reels better and quicker.

And Instagram has taken care of the latter.

Reel templates are an amazing way to create reels in just a few minutes. When this feature came out first, I shared my opinions on it in this post.

The thing that I didn’t like about it was the fact that the original creator of the template didn’t get any credits when another Instagram user uses their template to post a reel of their own,

But that’s changed now.

Whenever you use a reel template created by another account, their name will appear on the bottom of your reel as – a template created by the ‘username of the creator’.

Looks something like this –

This is the reel that got almost 700k views and has a template for you to use.

1. Dark aesthetics

Use this reel template to create a dark aesthetic vibe reel. I chose to use darker clips for this reel because the song syncs well with them.

If you’re not aware of it, this song is from the Netflix show Wednesday. See the trailer of the show and you’ll understand why I chose a dark theme.

To shoot clips in a similar way, tap on the screen while recording the video and pull down the exposure significantly.

Until the clip looks darker.

2. Meeting friends

I posted this as a grwm to meet a friend reel but you can use this template in other ways too.

The point is to just use clips with your friends, fun and candid moments.

They don’t have to be on the same day. Keep the vibe of the video happy & wholesome and you’re good to go!

4. Note to self

The text says – note to self, I’m going to make you proud.

Use videos of yourself working or going to work for this reel. Focus on showing you focusing on working to achieve your goals.

5. Make the friendship bracelets

You might have already seen reels like this floating on Instagram.

This is again, a compilation of happy & fun videos with your friends put together on the song You’re on your own kid by Taylor Swift.

6. Prioritize yourself & your own happiness

Super happy to say that this reel bagged over 1.4 million views! And it’s template has been used by over 300 people.

Create this soothing reel with videos of small moments that you enjoy and the times when you were at your happiest self.

7. Fun day out with the fam

This reel got more than 25k views. Use this reel template to showcase clips from a day out with your friends or family.

Remember to create a storyline and shoot videos of small things starting from the beginning to the end of the day.

Like in my video, I have started out with clips of the family traveling to the destination in a bus together, entering the farmhouse, getting into the pool, having lunch, and then dancing at night.

8. Moments that felt like magic

A video dump of a mix of beautiful & aesthetic clips from your phone’s gallery.

Personally, I would suggest using a clip of yourself as the first clip.

9. I like taking videos of every happy moment

The theme of this video is the same as that of the template – small joys, moments that felt like magic and I like taking videos of every happy moment.

The only difference is that this is a fast-paced video that needs more number of clips.

10. My camera roll

This is probably the easiest-to-use template. Because there is no theme or a specific kind of video that you have to use in it.

Just use the recent clips from your camera roll.
