Inshot is a versatile app. TBH, I use InShot the most for creating animated Instagram stories. In addition to editing your pictures and videos, you can also create animated videos.
It has a music collection like no other. Not the tacky background music that you have heard a million times before.
If you’re looking to make a story where the text is animated, simply create a new video with your background photo selected.
Add text and select the transition that you want to add. Did you know you can add your own fonts to the app? It’s quite a unique feature.
When you import custom fonts, you can use them in your edits, whether in photo or video form. Download cool new fonts from sites like dafont.com.
Extract the font files from the zip folder that gets downloaded. Open the Inshot app and go to the part where to select the font of your text. There will be an icon with an arrow through which you can select the font file stored in the download folder of your mobile.

5. Mojo
With Mojo you can create polished animated Instagram stories that look like as if they were made by a digital agency.
There are templates divided into categories like travel, photography, fashion, etc. You can customize every minute detail in your creation. More than 100 text effects are available on the app.

I even use it to design YouTube thumbnails and social media posters. Canva has a website as well, so all of your designs are synced. You can edit them on your phone and desktop simultaneously.

7. ImgPlay
In ImgPlay, you can create an animation by converting videos into GIFs. You can adjust the speed of the GIF, apply filters on it or loop it.
Live photos can be converted into videos and made to look like a stop-motion sequence.
You will get a watermark on your creations in the free version. Most apps have a subscription system but ImgPlay has only a one-time fee.
Though making GIFs is available for free, to add stickers and animated text, you will need to upgrade to the pro version.
