Don’t Make Your Shoulders Slouch

One of the most common mistakes we do unknowingly is slouch while posing because we’re simply used to it. Next time, when you pose, remember to stand straight and engage your core. Pull your shoulders back a little, just a tad bit. Too much of straight shoulders will look off-putting.

How To Place Your Arms

Keep your arms away from your body and don’t squish them on any part of your body. If you keep them close, it looks kind of boring and average. Stand in front of a mirror and experiment with your arms.

How To Pose With Lips

Though smile is the best thing you could do with your lips, smiling in all the pictures can make them all very similar and not stand out from one another. What you should do is, relax your lips slightly. Open them up just a tiny bit or fake laughing! It might seem stupid but it can work wonders sometimes. Do give it a try and tell me you loved it.

How To Use Different Angles

Different body shapes have different angles that work for them but the one that suits them all is the 45-degree angle. Stand at a 45-degree angle from the camera, keeping the head high and bring your chin forward and a bit down. This angle compliments the curves of your body in all the right ways.

If you’re posing sitting, always make sure to keep your toes pointed. Keep your arms and legs as spread as possible, making angles with your body to create a catchy and unique pose of your own. While standing, keep one leg in front of the other.

Slightly point the toes of the leg in front, this makes you look taller. The closer your legs are to the camera, the longer they’ll look.

Far better than just standing with both of your legs at the same line. Put all of your weight on one leg and push your *bum* out a little to create a gorgeous curve.

Facial expressions

All of us have a side of our face that’s more photogenic than the other. Figure out which one is yours by taking selfies from different sides. Try different facial expressions in them to find a one that you love the most so that when you post you’re not blank about should I smile, should I smirk or what.
