A seamless multi post on Instagram looks attractive and definitely makes a person spend more time on your post.
This in turn increases the time for which they engage with your content. In this post, I’ll tell you how to do it on Snapseed.
Instagram post sizes by default are 1080px by 1080px or 1:1 (Square) 1080px by 1350px or 4:5(Portrait) and. 1080px by 608px (Landscape).
There might be some pictures that are amazing but the 4:5 ratio gives them an odd crop. And the landscape mode makes them smaller on a mobile screen.
That’s when a seamless post on Instagram comes into the picture.
You can also do this when you want to give a closer look of the picture you posted.
Here, have a look at this seamless post I made on Instagram. It’s a portrait picture. I gave a closer look at her face using a seamless post.
So, let’s get to it.
Make a seamless multi post on Instagram without Photoshop (using only Snapseed)
Open your picture in Snapseed. If you don’t have the app, download and install it from the following links,
Crop the picture in the ratio 3:2 (Landscape). Adjust the crop so that the main elements in your picture are covered.
After this is done, we are going to split the image into two parts. You have to post these two smaller individual pictures as a carousel post to get a seamless post.

We will make the split using two 4:3 crops.
Make the first crop as shown in the picture above. Save the cropped picture. Then undo the last edit by clicking on the first icon from the left, in the top-right corner in Snapseed.
After undo-ing the first crop, make the second split using the same 4:3 portrait ratio. This time place the crop to the extreme right of the picture. Once placed, save the result on your phone.
And that’s it!
Takes hardly a minute to do it.
Now, head on to Instagram, create a new carousel post. Select the Crop-1 as the first picture and Crop-2 as the second picture and you’re good to go.
