Meta AI in chats to generate images
Imagine with Meta AI – is a tool that lets you create images and short video clips from scratch.
Simply type out the scene or the image you want to create and see the magic happen!
You can share the AI-generated image in the chat or save it on your phone.
Here’s an example:
Add lyrics of a song to your reel with a single click
This one is my favorite!
Using a third-party app, you no longer need to type the lyrics over your video.
Remember the feature where you can add music to your story and have its lyrics show up?
That same feature is now available on reels too!
The lyrics can be added for official songs added by artists. This doesn’t work on remixes, mashups, or original audio.

Viewers can leave comments on Instagram stories
Earlier, the only ways to engage with an Instagram story was – by liking it, sending it to someone through DMs, and replying to it.
A new Instagram update now lets you make public comments on stories.
The catch here is that only the followers you follow back can comment.
You must also enable story replies in your settings.
Here’s how to comment on an Instagram Story:
- Go to the Story you want to comment on.
- Tap the chat icon in the bottom left corner.
- Type your comment.
- Tap “Post.”
Post up to 20 photos/videos in a carousel.
The limit of photos/videos in a carousel post has been increased from 10 to 20.
That’s a pretty big jump tbh.
But that’s great for storytelling when you want to combine photos from a trip for example, or teach something broken down in small steps.
More details can be shown in carousel posts now which is a great opportunity for promotions & ads.
