Instagram has currently rolled a new collab feature in India and the UK. The feature is in its testing phase and has been limited to 2 countries as of now to see what kind of response it gets.
Using the new collab feature on the Instagram platform, creators can collaborate with each other when they share a new reel or a feed post.
Users can invite other accounts to be a collaborator. If they accept the invitation, the post/reel will show up on profiles of both the collaborators.
Collab feature will make it easy to showcasethe content which is created in collaboration with another Instagram creator.
The feature is being rolled out still so if you haven’t received it yet, just wait a little longer.
That’s if you live in India or the UK.
Both the parties will be able to see the insights of the post. And as it is shared on both the profiles, the reach will be an addition of reach from both the account’s audience as well.
How to use the collab feature on Instagram?
It is quite easy.
Create a post or a reel the same way as you used to. When you reach the end screen or the last step, choose the tag people option to invite a collaborator to that post by clicking on the invite collaborator option.
Both the collaborators should have a public profile to use this feature.
Here’s a quick video tutorial on how you can do it.
India has been receiving a lot of Instagram updates before the rest of the world.
For instance, India was one of the first countries to get reels, a separate tab for Instagram reels, and live rooms in which 4 people can go live together.
