The latest navigational element introduced by Google is an extension that enables you to create hyperlinks to the specific text within a site.
Using it, you can highlight and select text on any site, righ-click and select copy link to selected text. You can share this link with anyone who is using the same browser.
When the receiver clicks on the link, he will be redirected to the text you highlighted on the website.

Similar feature was recently added to Chromium
A similar feature was added to Chromium, by the name – Text Fragments. It works by adding extra linking information to a URL after a #.
It’s the same technology that Google now sometimes uses to link to specific parts of a webpage in search results.
This feature is compatible with version 80 upwards of all Chromium-based browsers.
Google’s blog post says that as of yesterday Firefox and Safari had not said that they’d implement the feature.
If you click on the link shared on these browsers, you will be redirected to the site and not the highlighted text.
The Link to Text Fragment extension is available now in the Chrome Web Store.
Install Link to Text Fragment extension
You can also create bookmarks of these links to text fragments. Copy them and save them as you would have normally saved a bookmark.
