Do you want to connect your webmail to Gmail? Using your webmail through Gmail is easier and more convenient.
Let’s dive straight into how you can do set your email account in Gmail.
Connect a webmail to Gmail
Step one is to log in to your existing Gmail account.
On the top-right corner, click on settings and then navigate to all settings.
On the all settings page scroll down a little and you will see an option that says ‘add a mail account’.
A window will pop up, like the one below-
Enter your details, the email address you own, its password, and port. If you’re not sure which port you should be using, contact your email provider. Since I have a Bluehost email, I contacted them and got my port details pretty easily.
Mine was Port 465.
Leave the POP server as it is, with its default entry. It worked for me, but you can also ask your email provider about it along with the Port number.
Make sure to tick the box in front of ‘Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail’.
Click on the Add Account button.
Outgoing Mail Settings
This window will pop up next after you click on the add account button, click on Yes. Select No if you want to use an alias.
And that’s it!
You’ll receive a verification code from Gmail to the email account you just added. Either click on the link in the email or copy/paste the code into the text box and click to verify.
After completing all these steps, you will see your domain’s email address in the Send mail as and the Check mail from other accounts sections.
