You can create glowing text in Resolve in its free version, you don’t need the paid studio version for it.
Let’s get straight to it.
Create glowing text in Resolve
Go to the Edit tab in Resolve.
Go to Titles and add Text+ on your video by dragging it over the video clip on the timeline.
Look at the menu on the top right.
Go to Shading, select 5 on Select Element, and check the box below, in front of the word enabled.
Scroll down a bit in this menu and go to Softness.
Increase the value of glow to add the glow effect to your text.
Experiment with the values of X and Y to change the look of the glow on your text.
Changing the value of X changes the position of the glow horizontally, and changing the value of Y changes the position of the glow vertically.
For the generic glow look, keep the values of X and Y equal. I would suggest trying out with the value 8.
