Brandon Woelfel,Links to All The Props You Need to Remake His Photographs

Brandon Woelfel is not a name you’d be new to if you’re a budding photographer who is active on Instagram. With over 2 million followers on Instagram and a verified blue tick on his profile, he has made himself a brand that is recognizable!

His pictures have a tint of blue and pink in the highlights and shadows. You can achieve a similar look with colour grading in Lightroom or Photoshop. I posted a tutorial of how you can edit pictures like Brandon Woelfel, linking it below:

In the above tutorial, I’ve shared the steps in detail to get similar tones. It’s inspired by his works.

So, we’ve got the edited part covered, what do we need next? The photograph itself! Brandon’s images are quite striking because of how he uses his props in his shots.

Let’s see what are the props he uses and how.

Prism

Prisms are really great to get the rainbow flares in your pictures. By keeping the prism positioned in a diagonal manner in front of your lens, you can get a cool effect in your images. Make sure to keep rotating and playing with its angle to find the best one.

Clear Umbrella

As simple as it could get, a normal clear umbrella can result in such great photographs. You can use it as it is or add some fairy lights to it. This creates a very dreamy theme overall when shot during night time.

If it’s not raining you make some fake rain droplets on the umbrella by spraying water on it and shoot through the umbrella for a unique perspective.

Moon Lamp

Who doesn’t love the moon? Save yourself the time and efforts to add a moon in your pictures by Photoshop. Get yourself a moon lamp to add an oomph factor to your pictures. They come in multiple colours of lighting.

Hold it in your hand, make your model throw it in the air a little, keep experimenting!

Suncatcher

Another way to utilize rainbows! Suncatchers create lines of rainbows on your subject. You can also achieve this look with the help of a CD. A CD’s reflection would have a smaller and wider single rainbow while suncatcher will create multiple lines in a ring formation.
