According to sources, the OnePlus 6 will be running Android 8.0 Oreo and dual rear camera setup with 16MP + 20MP modules. It is rumored to be powered by a 3540mAh battery. Last month, a report surfaced online suggesting that the OnePlus 6 will be 50% costlier as compared to its predecessor OnePlus 5T. A GizmoChina report said that the OnePlus 6 will be priced at $749 (Rs 48,800 approximately).
The company has confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with 8GB of RAM. Oneplus 6 will be the first phone of the company to have a 256GB variant. The smartphone is also said to have iPhone X-like gesture control features as hinted by the company in one of the teaser videos.
When is it releasing?
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, while speaking to CNET at this year’s CES, said that the OnePlus 6 will be unveiled in “late Q2 2018”, which implies the launch might be in June. However, according to a leak from Chinese retailer JingDong Mail, the OnePlus 6 could make its official debut on 5 May.
