Huawei P20 and P20 Pro Comparison: Featuring triple-camera of 40 megapixels

Both the phones will be launched on 27 March in Paris. Following are the leaked specifications of the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro.

The P20 flagship smartphones will launch in black, blue, and pink color options. The P20 has an iPhone X-like notch above the display and a physical home button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The back of the phone houses vertically aligned Leica-branded dual cameras. It’s been claimed that the P20 will feature an LCD display and is expected to support 2280 x 1080 resolution with 19:9 aspect ratio.

It features a 5.7″ (14.48 cm) display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and runs on Android v7.1 (Nougat) operating system. The huge display has 515ppi to give you a crisp looking screen. The device is powered by Octa-core (2.4 GHz o, Cortex A73 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) processor running with 8 GB of RAM. The battery is of 3400 mAh. The internal storage of the device is 128 GB and is expandable up to 256GB. It supports DUAL SIM and has a micro USB 2.0 port. The rear camera is of 16 megapixels while the front camera is of 8 megapixels. Sensors in the camera include a Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope.  For graphical performance that can make games run smoothly, this phone has got a Mali-G71 MP8 GPU.

Huawei P20 Pro has a bigger screen that P20, measuring 6.1 inches and of resolution 1080 x 2240 pixels, an OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The rear camera is rumored to be triple-camera featuring a 40-megapixel main sensor certified by Leica compared to 16  megapixels of the P20. An 8-megapixel telephoto, a 20 megapixel black and white lens and a main RGB lens that clocks in an impressive 40 megapixels. This is the highest megapixel camera till date, on any smartphone, except the Nokia 808 and Limua 1020. The device runs on 6GB RAM and is powered by 4000 mAh battery.  The Kirin 970 will be powering both the P20 and P20 Pro. It has been revealed that both the P20 and P20 Pro won’t include a microSD card slot. So, does it have a fingerprint sensor? Yes, it does.The P20 Pro is said to arrive in black, blue and lilac color options.

The P20 and P20 Pro may get a super slow-motion capture mode, similar to the Galaxy S9 and Xperia XZ2.

 

The P20 Pro may launch at a price of Eur 899 (or approx Rs 71,984), the P20 will cost Eur 679 (or approx Rs 54,360), and the P20 Lite at Eur 369 (or approx Rs 29,541). All three smartphones will be made official on March 27 in Paris.
