Xiaomi has been on a roll in India for quite a while now and has become the first company ever to have sold more than 4 million devices in a month. It stands tall with ranking No#1 on Flipkart and Amazon.
Xiaomi started out sending press invites for the event on 2 November and the news has been on fire henceforth. Xiaomi unveiled MIUI 9 back in July, since then the company has been constantly working on releasing closed and public beta versions for some of the supported devices. Rumors say that Xiaomi’s popular Android skin will be released on 2 November 2017 along with a new smartphone series.The Managing Director of Xiaomi India and VP at Xiaomi, Manu Kumar Jain’s recent tweet has the people guessing on which new features will be introduced in the company’s newest series.
The above teaser image for the launch event to be held on 2 November, portrays a symbol of lightning bolt that can be thought of as some fast charging feature because lately Xiaomi phone’s haven’t been performing that well in this field. Also, seeing the tweet of Manu Kumar Jain, it can also be guessed that the phone will be selfie-focused i.e, better front camera. It is expected to be a 16 megapixels front camera.
The rumors came through FoneArena, which received word from its sources that the MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM will hit devices as early as the first week of November. Xiaomi is expected to publicly roll out MIUI 9 to supported devices throughout the month of November. Which devices will get the update first isn’t yet known.
